New Canada Goose store in Etobicoke offers superior experience to inventory | Business

Toronto’s newest Canada Goose store, which officially opened in Sherway Gardens on December 5, is less a store and more an experience.

The shop, which has no coats physically in stock, takes customers through an interactive arctic-themed playground before receiving professional advice to make a purchase which is then delivered to their home.

The all-inclusive appointment-based service includes exploring a two-story glacier frontage, viewing 60-foot-wide curved screens of bespoke content, reading the company’s Snow Mantra parkas through interactive screens, entering a cold room of arctic landscapes and real snow (while wearing Canada Goose jackets) and enjoying personalized shopping opportunities.

“In retail, experience is everything – and trying on a Canada Goose jacket for the first time is a great experience,” said Dani Reiss, President and CEO of Canada Goose. “This new store amplifies that moment by creating an environment that digitally and physically transports people to the Arctic in innovative, surprising and inspiring ways.”
