Canada Goose opened a pop-up store in Manchester, England on September 25.

Located on New Cathedral Street, the store concept revolves around creating a sensory experience for customers, using sight, sound and touch Incorporating elements of nature, the store’s design utilizes a series of visuals titled “Life of Forests” by photographer Brendan George Ko. The visuals are an exploration of Ko’s belief in the complex underground network that trees use to communicate.

The Manchester pop-up also offers clothing specially adapted for the city’s colder temperatures. Including the new Cypress and Crofton recycled nylon jackets, Canada Goose also underscores its continued commitment to sustainability, as well as an outdoor experience for locals. Through flyers attached to the billboards, the brand incorporated half a million wildflower seeds, encouraging people to take the flyers and plant the seeds, as they are all made from compostable material.

Last year, Canada Goose announced plans to stop using fur for all of its products. It aims to stop buying fur by the end of 2021 and stop using it by the end of 2022.

Other products that will be available at the pop-up are parkas, rainwear, windbreakers, lightweight down and high-end knits. Canada Goose also offers its new jacket in recycled ripstop fabric.
